Joseph Thomas Sheridan Le Fanu (1814-1873) was an Irish writer of Gothic novels, one of the most influential ghost story writers of the nineteenth century. While being one of the early works, "The Mysterious Lodger" still considered as a fine example of horror fiction classics by one of the most prominent authors of the genre.
