In Egypt, carp fish produced in large amount from aquatic culture as well as they are cheap in price compared to other fish species. However, its composition as a whole fish didn''t appeal the taste of Egyptian consumer because of the presence of fins (small and fin bones) in the fish flesh. In this present work, possibility of producing an acceptable and keep quality new products from minced mixed common and silver carp fish flesh blends (1:1 w/w) namely, i.e. fish kobebah, fish kofta and fish finger by using mixture of spices such as black pepper, rosemary, majoram ... etc, and other additives to improve the taste and produce semi prepared fish products of high nutritional value and storage stability was studied to meet pronounced scarcity in the production of animal food protein.

Most of the Textile industries in Ethiopia are suffering with quality related problems such as: poor quality of raw materials, poor performance of products, high rework and scrap, poor utilization of the resources, low productivity, and customer dissatisfaction. Therefore, this investigation has focused on how these problems could be removed with the help of QMS. Based on the survey of four textile industries and two case studies (Bahirdar and Akaki textile share companies), nine major components have been identified for QMS implementation in Ethiopian textile industries. QMS provides consistency and satisfaction in terms of methods, materials, equipment, and interacts with all activities of the companies.

The present study was conducted to determine the comparative resistance of ten genotypes of conventional and transgenic cotton was studied under field conditions. The results revealed that infestation of spotted bollworm was high on squares, flowers and bolls of FH-207. The infestation of pink bollworm was high on CIM-2015 followed by PKR-101, CIM-554, FH-207 and CRSM-07.The infestation on squares and flowers of CIM-554 was significantly high followed by PKR-101, CRSM-07, CIM-2015 and FH-207. Overall infestation of bollworm complex was found to be high in CIM-554, CIM-2015 and FH-207 as compared to other transgenic and conventional cott0n genotypes. However, BT-05, SITARA-08 and FH-133/14 emerged as comparatively resistant varieties.
